"This is indeed a very humbling milestone in my life, both professionally and personally," said Meyer. Over his two decades with Crye-Leike, Meyer's resume of experience and achievement has surpassed even his own expectations. The first ribbon cutting was held at 11:30am at the company's branch sales office located at 5913 Main Street in Ooltewah. The second occurred at 1:00pm at the company's New Home Division office location at 8121 Georgetown Road. House hunting in a nationwide foreclosure crisis can be good if you're the buyer, but bad if you're the seller.
How does the Tennessee Valley compare to many of the region's hardest hit by the housing crunch.
Jonathan Charlton is a relatively recent arrival to the Chattanooga area. He's got a lease on a home in Ooltewah, but he's looking for a place of his own.
Charlton said, "I'm looking at a couple of houses, maybe on the other side of 58, Harrison, and in this neighborhood right here. I'm looking for something that has a yard for my dogs."
