FAYETTEVILLE, AR., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce the merger of the company's Northwest Arkansas operations with Globalink Realtors.  The merger is effective June 1, 2008 with Globalink's owner, Managing Broker and 20 sales associates relocating to Crye-Leike's new Fayetteville Arkansas branch office on June 16, 2008.

Northwest Arkansas grapples with record foreclosures and banks and mortgage lenders find their real estate portfolios growing. It's a combination that has some buyers presenting lowball offers.

 

"I have never seen buyers so educated. Many are not looking for just a good deal, they often want a steal," said Vickie Briolet, real estate agent for Crye Leike Realty in Rogers.

 

There are nearly 400 bank owned homes in Benton County and another 390 properties set to auction in the next 30 days according to Realtytrac.com. Briolet said there are so many distressed homes on the market it's hard to find properties in some price ranges that aren't.

FORT OGLETHORPE, GA., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS congratulates Affiliate Broker Bill Britt on obtaining his Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. He is a sales associate based out of the company's Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia branch office located at 69 Crye-Leike Drive.

COLUMBIA, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS associates from the company's Columbia branch office raised nearly $200 dollars for United Way recently during a friendly Putting Competition.  The participating Realtors and staff called it their "United We Putt" contest, held Tuesday May 20, 2008 at Glow Golf in the Columbia Mall located at 800 south James Campbell Blvd, Suite One.

"We're so thankful for the generosity of our associates and staff and especially Glow Golf owner Suzanne Gagnuer," said Crye-Leike agent Linda Stern.  "Suzanne provided free green fees which allowed us to raise more than $182 for United Way."

HOT SPRINGS, AR., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce that the company's Hot Springs branch office will be hosting a United Way Car Wash with all proceeds going to benefit the United Way. This is one of many events being hosted by the company's branch offices to raise funds for their 2008 United Way campaign.

 

The car wash will be held on Friday, June 13th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Hot Springs branch office located at 1420 Central Avenue, Suite A. The cost per vehicle is a $3.00 donation.
