Memphis, Tenn. -  Without any warning, a thunderstorm of historic ferocity tore across the southern two-thirds of Memphis, Tenn., Shelby County just after dawn on Tues., July 22, 2003 that recorded 85-90 mph straight-line winds and left over 306,000 homes and businesses without power, leaving them paralyzed for days.

Yet, Crye-Leike, Realtors' headquarters building remained unscathed and still with full power. Lucky for them because its Crye-Leike Home Services Division was able to save the day by immediately responding to the emergency needs of some its customers who were storm victims to the largest outage in the history of Memphis Light Gas & Water. The massive utility-restoration process conducted by MLGW is estimated to cost them over $30 million, twice the tab stemmed from the city's 1994 ice storm.

Memphis, Tenn. -  Crye-Leike, the nation's 10th largest real estate company, reports brisk across-the-board sales activity due to low mortgage rates as disclosed in its second quarter sales report.

Crye-Leike, Realtors, whose celebrating its 26th year in business, reports that Crye-Leike of Arkansas experienced the fastest rate in sales growth since expanding operations into Little Rock one year ago; Crye-Leike, Inc. (Memphis) performed the highest monthly sales record in the history of the company; and, Crye-Leike of Johnson City and Crye-Leike of Chattanooga both displayed the greatest percentage of sales growth during second quarter.

Chattanooga, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that one of its sales associates, Agnes Hellmann, has been awarded the company's certified premier properties specialist (CPPS) designation, which signifies excellence in marketing higher priced and estate properties in North Georgia and Chattanooga, Tenn. She is among the 60 Crye-Leike sales associates company wide who have achieved this designation out of the company's 2,500 sales force.
