Memphis, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, announced that it has held its No. 13 national ranking among the nation's largest residential brokerage firms. A recent report ranked Crye-Leike No. 13 among the 500 largest residential real estate brokerage firms in the United States and No. 8 in the nation among the 133 largest privately owned and independent real estate companies.
The report was prepared and recently released by REAL Trends, Inc., the leading provider of information and analysis for the residential real estate industry. These rankings were based on Crye-Leike achieving 20,406 closed transaction sides among its 47 branch offices in 2001. Crye-Leike ranks No. 24 in closed sales volume at $2.9 billion when REAL Trends re-ranked the same top 500 real estate companies.

Nashville, Tenn. - Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike, Realtors, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, has set aside and sold part of a subdivision in Murfreesboro he owns to Murfreesboro City Schools as a future site for a new elementary school. The sale is encouraging for Murfreesboro residents who have complained that their fast-growing city has an overcrowded school system.
Crye transferred to the city of Murfreesboro 21.80 acres of a 117.53 acre site that is located in the back section of Huntington Place, a residential community of 128 homes located one mile east of Memorial Boulevard in Murfreesboro on DeJarnette Lane.

Memphis, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, announces the grand opening of its newest branch office in East Memphis, making it Crye-Leike's 14th branch office in the Greater Memphis area. Memphis, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors is growing and expanding its branch offices faster than it takes them to secure their building sign approvals and permits. That's the case for one of a stream of Crye-Leike branch offices in the Greater Memphis area that are planning to hold open houses to commemorate their new or expanded locations.

4:30 p.m. It has expanded and relocated operations into a new company-owned office plaza at 435 North Byhalia Road.
