Memphis, Tenn. -  Crye-Leike Commercial of Memphis, Tenn. announced its top six commercial brokers for 2000 with Bud Worsham ranked as its top producer, followed by Charles Callis, CRS, Garry Maness, Cherie Ganesh, CCIM, Mack Browder, CPA, and Tucker Beck, CCIM.

Monteagle, Tenn. - Crye-Leike announced the grand opening of its first franchise in Tennessee, Crye*Leike 1st Realty, located in Grundy County at the corner of Highway 41 and 41A  in Monteagle, Tenn. which is halfway between Murfreesboro and Chattanooga, approximately 45 miles a part. Grand opening ceremonies were held on Thursday, April 26, 2001, where local dignitaries were in attendance.

Memphis, Tenn. - Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, will address graduating students of Arkansas State University as an alumnus at their spring commencement ceremony on May 11, 2001.

Over 900 students, who are candidates for degrees at the graduate and undergraduate levels, will be presented diplomas at this commencement. Arkansas State University (wwwastate.edu), which is based in Jonesboro, Ark., is a public institution of higher education offering a variety of programs leading to the associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. It serves students primarily from Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Mississippi, with enrollment at approximately 10,000 students annually.

Nashville, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thurs., April 19, 2001, for its newly-established Bellevue branch office, located at 224 Old Hickory Blvd. The Bellevue office is the first of several expansion offices Crye-Leike plans to open to the west of Nashville, says Tom Kimbrough, vice president and general manager of Crye-Leike of Nashville, Inc.

"Crye-Leike is committed to serving home buyers and sellers in all of Middle Tennessee. We intend to position ourselves to support the impact on development resulting from the completion of Interstate 840 in the western counties."

Among those state and local dignitaries who attended the ribbon cutting ceremony were: State Representative Tim Garrett of District 50; State Senator Douglas Henry Jr. of District 21; Civil Judge Leon Ruben and Councilman Vic Lineweaver of District 35.

Nashville, Tenn. -  Crye-Leike, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, has established a new homes division, Crye-Leike Builder Resources, that specializes in comprehensive builder services, creating one source for all builders' needs in Middle Tennessee. Crye-Leike Builder Resources is focusing its efforts on handling direct sales and consulting to increase marketing opportunities for builders and developers in Middle Tennessee through such services as on-site staffing, sales management, sales training and research on expansion markets.

Last year in seven surrounding counties within the metropolitan statistical area of Nashville, there were 8,960 building permits issued for new homes construction, according to Edsel Charles of MarketGraphics in Brentwood, Tenn.
