Memphis, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, posted a record sales performance of over $3 billion in 2002, the highest ever in company history. Crye-Leike officials made this announcement to its 2,300 sales associates at the company's 26th annual meetings held January 2003 in its Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga and Arkansas regions.

Tennessee-based Crye-Leike, the nation's 13th largest residential real estate company, reported $3.17 billion in year-end sales volume company wide for 2002, up 7.29 percent from $2.95 billion through Dec. 2001. Crye-Leike's sales associates in a six-state southern region of the United States handled 22,198 closings in 2002, a 6.89 percent increase from the 20,768 closings reported through Dec. 2001.

Chattanooga, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors presented its Customer Service Awards at its January annual meeting in Chattanooga to those sales associates who demonstrated a passionate commitment to unsurpassed service to their clients.

Those recipients were: Linda Cunningham and Kenny Fleshman.  They were chosen out of the hundreds of complimentary letters Crye-Leike receives regarding the superior service their sales associates provide.

Linda Cunningham of Hixson is an affiliate broker of Crye-Leike's Soddy-Daisy branch office, selling new and existing residential properties to buyers and sellers in Hamilton County. She holds several nationally recognized professional designations, specializing in real estate buyer representation, residential and non-residential brokerage and marketing luxury properties. Nashville, Tenn. -  Broker Dan H. Jordan of Crye-Leike Commercial & Property  Management has been named the National Association of Realtors' President's Liaison to the Ukrainian Association of Realtors. Cathy Whatley, current NAR president, made the appointment.

The Ukrainian affiliation is the most recent of 57 international real estate associations with which the National Association of Realtors maintains a bilateral cooperating agreement.

"The position of President's Liaison is a significant one, as it is key to maintaining NAR's important relationships with foreign associations," says James Ascot, NAR's chair of its International Operations Committee.

Liaisons act as hosts to the NAR president and visiting delegations during NAR's conventions and assist staff in matters involving bilateral cooperating agreements, so that both organizations benefit from the alliance.
