BRENTWOOD, Tenn.- Responding to the American Red Cross' request for more blood, Crye-Leike, Realtors is holding its annual blood drive on Wednesday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brentwood West branch office, located at 5111 Maryland Way.
The public, as well as Crye-Leike employees, are encouraged to take part in the efforts to collect blood, and both first-time and regular donors are invited to participate. The American Red Cross is placing a mobile unit outside Crye-Leike's headquarters to accommodate walk-up traffic, though donors are encouraged to set appointments ahead of time to avoid delays.
"The American Red Cross has issued a goal of 60 pints for our company, based on employee size," said Crye-Leike sales associate Jim Heidenway, co-chairman of Crye-Leike's blood drive. "We met that goal last year and would love to sail past it this year."
