Memphis, Tenn. - When Lifeblood, Mid-South Regional Blood Center issued a plea to donate blood this summer to supplement the drastic drop in summer inventory, Crye-Leike in Memphis heeded their call by organizing a company blood drive in August. Similarly, the American Red Cross issued the same plea in Middle Tennessee where Crye-Leike organized additional blood drives in Brentwood, Clarksville and Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
Crye-Leike's company wide efforts proved worthwhile, collecting 124 pints of blood between June and August, reported officials from Lifeblood and the American Red Cross.
"The American Red Cross tells us that one blood donation helps to save up to three lives. Crye-Leike is proud to say that we made a difference in saving 372 people's lives," said Joyce Friedman, public relations for Crye-Leike.
"The need for blood in America is tremendous, and donating blood is so simple," she said. "Lifeblood, Mid-South Regional Blood Center in Memphi...

Supporting Youth Villages is not new to Crye-Leike. In addition to Crye-Leike's 19 branch offices in Middle Tennessee sponsoring this back-to-school project over the past three years, Crye-Leike also has held a fund-raiser called Campai...
