Nashville, Tenn. - Broker Dan H. Jordan of Crye-Leike Commercial & Property Management has been named the National Association of Realtors' President's Liaison to the Ukrainian Association of Realtors. Cathy Whatley, current NAR president, made the appointment.
The Ukrainian affiliation is the most recent of 57 international real estate associations with which the National Association of Realtors maintains a bilateral cooperating agreement.
"The position of President's Liaison is a significant one, as it is key to maintaining NAR's important relationships with foreign associations," says James Ascot, NAR's chair of its International Operations Committee.
Liaisons act as hosts to the NAR president and visiting delegations during NAR's conventions and assist staff in matters involving bilateral cooperating agreements, so that both organizations benefit from the alliance.
