Smyrna, Tenn. - The Smyrna branch office of Crye-Leike, Realtors is sponsoring its Second Annual Food Drive Festival on December 14, 2002, to benefit the Smyrna-LaVergne Food Bank. The public is invited to help those in need by bringing non-perishable food items to the Crye-Leike Smyrna branch office, located at 599 Sam Ridley Parkway West, where festivities are planned from
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Additionally, to boost donations, Crye-Leike will accept non-perishable food items now and up to the day of the event, says Event Chairman Kendra Cooke, a Crye-Leike sales associate.
Crye-Leike is providing various activities for children attending the December 14th event. Santa will be available for photos, and children will enjoy face painting and Christmas cookies.
"The number of families in need has increased so much this year," said Martha Mankin, director of the Food Bank in Smyrna.
