Clarksville, Tenn. - Just 10 days after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City, sales associates of Crye-Leike, Realtors' Fort Campbell branch office organized a disaster relief car wash that community officials claim to be the biggest relief fund-raiser in Clarksville. The community rallied together washing over 700 cars and raising over $12,800 in donations for the American Red Cross National Disaster Relief Fund in support of the relief and recovery mission.

Sales associates with Crye-Leike, Realtors were joined by numerous community and civic leaders and groups washing over 100 cars an hour for donations at three areas set up along Fort Campbell Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fund-raiser was held in the parking lot of Crye-Leike as well as in the neighboring parking lots of Am-South Bank and Grandpa's Sporting Goods. Nearly 100 local businesses donated food, goods and services.
