Nashville, Tenn. - On October 11, 2000, the Gallatin Planning Commission has rezoned and approved the site and development plan for Crye-Leike, Realtors to build a real estate branch office in Gallatin, Tenn., Sumner County. The site, approximately one acre, is located at 1184 Nashville Pike (Highway 31), west of the city.
The parcel includes a vacant house that was rezoned for office use. The property was purchased by Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike, in April 1999 for $185,000.
Crye plans to add a one-story 1,652 square foot expansion to the existing structure, making the project a total of 3,874 square feet of office space for Crye-Leike's new Gallatin branch office. Crye's investment in land and improvements will exceed $350,000.
