Memphis, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors announces the release of its traditional Crye-Leike cookbook, entitled "Food for Thought," marking its 20th edition. Crye-Leike sales associates, which total over 2,200 corporatewide, order and distribute 30,000 copies of the cookbook each year as gifts to their clients.
This 135-page cookbook contains 330 recipes contributed from sales associates of Crye-Leike and their clients and friends. Recipes are divided into seven categories: Appetizers, Pickles & Relishes; Soups, Salads & Sauces; Meats & Main Dishes; Vegetables; Breads, Rolls & Pastries; Cakes, Cookies & Desserts; and Beverages & Miscellaneous.
"Our company's growth and success is a direct result of the help we've received from the people in our communities," said Dick Leike, co-owner of Crye-Leike. "This cookbook is our way of saying, 'Thank you.' "

Brentwood, Tenn. - Kay Crawford of Nashville has been named senior corporate broker for Crye-Leike of Nashville Inc., a newly-established management position to be based at its corporate headquarters in Brentwood. She brings to Crye-Leike over 20 years of real estate expertise and training ability from serving as vice president of Continuing Learning Institute (CLI). At Crye-Leike, she will serve as corporate support to 21 Crye-Leike branch offices in the Greater Nashville area and to Crye-Leike College to strengthen the company's training efforts. Memphis, Tenn. - A total of 30 Crye-Leike sales associates in Memphis recently completed a highly-specialized training program on marketing premier properties valued at $400,000 or more. The two-day course, offered by Crye-Leike, Realtors for its sales associates, included segments on architecture, custom construction, insurance, appraisal and finance issues. Also included were on-site consultations with interior and exterior design and engineering professionals as well as a bus tour through historic neighborhoods that focused on architecture and history.

Brentwood - Crye-Leike of Nashville, Inc. has committed to participate in Middle Tennessee's United Way campaign, a first for a real estate brokerage firm, according to local United Way Officials.
While the relationship between United Way and Crye-Leike is not new, it is the first time that sales associates within Crye-Leike's Middle Tennessee branch offices will have the opportunity to support the agencies in their communities. Crye-Leike in Memphis has held an agent/employee United Way campaign over the past four years, raising a total of $52,000 in contributions.
"Crye-Leike of Nashville has grown significantly since we opened our first office in 1992, " said Harold Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike. "With a sales force of over 900 sales associates and a staff of over 200 in the Greater Nashville area, Crye-Leike of Nashville is now in a position to join our counterparts in Memphis by partnering with United Way."

The No. 1 real estate firm in the Mid-south has established its first franchise in Arkansas. Crye-Leike has sold a franchise to Crye*Leike Missco Realty in Blytheville, representing its fifth franchise with others in Oxford, New Albany and Tupelo, Miss, and Monteagle, Tenn.
Crye-Leike is distinguishing its franchises from its branch offices by substituting the hyphen in the company name with a star, notes Randall Hall, director of franchise sales for Crye-Leike, who sold the Arkansas franchise. "The public will notice a slight modification to our business signage for these new franchises, but the overall look and distinctive red and white colors will remain the same."
