Chattanooga, Tenn. -  Crye-Leike of Chattanooga, Inc. announces that three of its sales associates have recently graduated from a leadership training program sponsored by the Chattanooga Association of Realtors called Leadership CAR.

Those agents are: David Jones and Diana Traylor, both of Crye-Leike's East Brainerd branch office and Marie King of Crye-Leike's Hixson branch office.

Leadership CAR is a training program designed to encourage and develop future leaders for the Chattanooga Association of Realtors, says Francie Ryder, executive officer of the Chattanooga Association of Realtors. The program covers leadership skills as well as addresses community and association issues.

"This five-year-old program has been very successful in producing leaders for the organization," says Ryder. "Many participants are appointed to chair committees, serve on the board of directors and eventually serve as officers for the association."

Purchasing holiday greeting cards designed by Youth Villages' children are an annual tradition with Crye-Leike, Realtors' sales associates who have raised additional funds for the charity each Christmas season.

Crye-Leike recently announced at its January annual meeting that a total of  $28,780 was raised for Youth Villages from its 21st annual Campaign for Children.

Crye-Leike's Campaign for Children is an in-house fund-raiser held each December during the holiday season among its sales associates and corporate staff in the greater metropolitan areas of Memphis and Nashville. Those areas include Crye-Leike branch offices in Davidson, Fayette, Grundy, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Shelby, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson counties in Tennessee; Crittendon County in Arkansas; and DeSoto County in Mississippi.

Nashville, Tenn. -  Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that one of its sales associates, Lois Silagi, was recently awarded the company's certified premier properties specialist (CPPS) designation which signifies excellence in marketing higher priced and estate properties in the Greater Nashville area. She is one of 58 Crye-Leike sales associates company wide who has achieved this distinction.

Silagi is affiliated with Crye-Leike's Franklin - Cool Springs branch office. She also holds other designations as a certified residential specialist (CRS), a nationally recognized professional designation and the highest credential awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field as well as the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation, which signifies mastery in residential brokerage.

Chattanooga, Tennessee - Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that one of its sales associates, Claire Smith, has been awarded the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation by the Tennessee Association of Realtors.

The GRI designation, under the auspices of the National Association of Realtors, is a national professional designation that signifies mastery of a specific and intensive program of classroom instruction in various aspects of residential brokerage.

A resident for 18 years on Signal Mountain and now residing in North Chattanooga, Smith is affiliated with Crye-Leike's Signal Mountain branch office. She markets residential properties to buyers and sellers in Hamilton County, specializing in first-time homebuyers, neighborhood homes on Signal Mountain, renovation homes in North Chattanooga and lake front properties.

Nashville, Tenn. - During the month of February, you may have a Cub Scout or Boy Scout knocking at your door to give you a free copy of the Boy Scouts of America's newly published, The Flag Book. Their mission is not to solicit funds but to conduct "a good turn," or good deed as part of a nationwide Boy Scout public service initiative.

The booklet offers helpful tips on the correct and proper ways to honor the American flag.
