Harold Crye, chief executive officer, has signed a franchise agreement with co-owners Kirk Tinsley and Geoff Fields to operate Crye*Leike Executive Realty in Bowling Green, making it one of nine Crye-Leike franchises company wide.

The city was recently named among the top 10 small cities in which to locate a business by Site Selection Magazine.

Partners Tinsley and Fields are entering the Bowling Green real estate market in a big way. They are building a 9,500 sq. ft. office building at 1268 Campbell Lane. Crye*Leike Executive Realty will occupy 4,500 sq. ft. to accommodate up to 35 sales associates. The property...

Memphis, Tenn. -  Crye-Leike, Realtors' branch office in Collierville, Tenn. has expanded and relocated operations into a new company-owned office plaza at 435 North Byhalia Road. The move allows the company to broaden its real estate services into new areas of growth within Fayette County and North Mississippi, Marshall County, said Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer.

Crye-Leike's new location occupies 8,245 square feet of office space, accommodating 70 sales associates, a 32 percent increase in office capacity from its previous location. The office is located a few blocks north of Poplar Avenue in Collierville.

"Our Collierville branch office has outgrown its space due to growth in our sales associate population, which is indicative of what is happening to the area's population growth," said Steve Brown, vice president and general manager of Crye-Leike Inc. of Memphis. "

The Collierville Chamber of Commerce reports that since 1990, Collier...

Memphis, Tenn. - In 1982 when the National Association of Realtors (NAR) warned real estate brokers that those who did not diversify their business would probably not survive, Crye-Leike Realtors' co-founders and owners, Harold Crye and Dick Leike, took heed and formed Crye-Leike Insurance Agency, Inc., along with many other divisions to become a full service real estate company.  Since then, many independent insurance agencies have sold, merged or just could not make it. But today, Crye-Leike Insurance celebrates its 20th year in business while Crye-Leike celebrates its 25th anniversary.

"Back then, Crye-Leike was a real estate company with only 200 sales associates and four offices," said Lynn Alford, Crye-Leike's first insurance broker who has been with the agency since its establishment 20 years ago. "Some people said it couldn't be done [a real estate company starting an insurance agency]. But when you put a challenge like that in front of Harold and Dick, they'll go...
